Our story

A neighborhood original.

La Pizza opened in 1979 and has been serving the Los Angeles Jewish community for more than four decades.

A brief history of La Pizza

Still here. Still family-run.

We opened in 1979 and were the second kosher pizza place to open in Los Angeles.

Today, we’re proud to be the oldest kosher pizza place still standing in Los Angeles. The restaurant has changed with the years, but the heart of it has stayed the same: family, community, and food people know by name.
